Antenna Problem

I installed a new unit and put in the relay for the antenna. My problem is the unit being on/off has no affect on the antenna, but turning the key on/off does. I've been searching but haven't found an answer to this one.

it looks like you wired the relay wrong, check your wiring.

Sounds like your 12v trigger for the relay is running off of 12v switched power. If your using an aftermarket stereo, the blue, or blue with white stripe wire is your power antenna wire. The other wire is your remote turn on for amplifiers. Use the blue (or blue with white stripe, cant remember which) as the trigger for your relay and it should work great.
