Another no start question but tranny related question

Alright i just swapped in a s4 jspec T2 into my n/a 88 got everything wired up so far except for the tranny stuff i was wondering if they also needed to be hooked up in order for it to run and i also have a wire on top of the transmission by the slave cylinder that i think is a ground but the end is cut off and i dont know where to get a new one from and was wondering if that could be the problem too?

The transmission harness does not need to be connected, but the starter wiring sure does. If you don't know already, many people have had issues making JSpec ECUs work in US models. Something about the wiring and ECU pins being different, I'm no expert on that subject matter though.

That "ground" wire is probably the most commonly unknown part of the FC. It's a condenser. I'm pretty sure it's to smooth out minor fluctuations in the oil pressure gauge.

No-starts are rudimentary across the board for any car. Air, fuel, compression, and spark are what causes an engine to run. If you have those, you should be getting something. A little more detail in those areas would be helpful.

If the Black flat computer chip looking piece fell off then don't connect the wire and just leave it be, but tape off the end of the exposed wire so it doesn't accidentally come in contact w/metal.
