Lightbulb another check engine light thread....

well i put a new trans in my car and i know i hooked everything electrical up except for this wire that come from the bell housing on the drivers side, fully extended it will reach the oil filter. i cant find the wire i unplugged it from. i remember unplugging it but like an idiot i jus threw it down instead of taping it to something, so does anyone have an idea what this is? and is it gonna hurt anything being disconnected?...

Does it have a little black "box" at the end of it?

It's not your tranny-to-firewall ground, is it?

no its not ground, thats on the passenger side. this wire is low, it comes from the side or the bottom of the trans on the drivers side...
