So I jacked up the car and took a look under it to see if that may the electrical issue.
Not sure if the pics are good enough for you to tell, but some of the wrap around the wiring has come undone, and there are bare wires exposed.
Wondering if this could be causing the issue with the electical system cutting out?
Also, I tried to reseat the starter, and for some reason now one of the bolts holding the starter in just spins, it won't ever get tight or catch. Not sure what I'm going to do about that one...

So I finally turned the car around in the garage, and got it down to where I can start tearing things out of the engine bay for the swap.
I don't have time really to work on this much, so this is after 3 days of me using 90% of my freetime to work on the car.

Picked these up for my car just now. Will need to sand it down and get em painted at some point here soon.
Any advice from any painters on how best to prep that and get it on?
