Ok I am looking to buy this strut bar but I am concerned about its aluminum construction. Will it hold? Does anyone have this one?

it will hold fine... some aluminum alloys are stronger then steel.

I doubt that one is though... fwiw i have a racing beat strut tower brace... and that thing is light! really really light!

 

IF this is an autobacs bar, they are fairly well-known japanese tuning co.
I wouls assume it to be well-made , IF it is indeed autobacs brand

 

autobacs is good stuff...i was there in japan and its like a performance supermarket

i have a suspention specialties front strut bar, i've never had problems with it. I dont think you'd have a problem with that bar, it looks exactly the same as mine. even the end mounts

i can get that one for about 40 bucks but I am afraid it might be useless

i really couldnt afford the rb one though.....

It's the same bar from what appears to be the same seller. Not dissing the seller but for that price I decided to pass. It smelled too fishy to me.

I got screwed by one of those guys
i think his name was AutoKingdom, but he disappeared along with my $45.00 for the strut bar

 

the autobacs1 guy has been there a while, though, i would consider buying from him

 

Get the triangle shaped onw made by CP racing, that would probably be the best strut tower bar that you could buy, that or Mazdatrix, but CP is WAY cheaper.

 

I suggest saving an extra $30 or so, and buying one of Guru's triangular bar for the FC!

 

Guru's bars are my preferred bar, and aren't expensive compared to a "regular" tuning company
And they seem to be more functional!
They are not legal for SCCA racing, though

Yeah Chris does have rear strut bars. They even let you pick the color . CP is one of the best places Ive ever dealt with. I want to get a bridgeported fb, and the motor is definately coming from them (so did the one for my fc).

 

Um I noticed you all are from canada will he ship to the USA?? cool I wonder if they have 5A paint? lol
