Aluminum Flywheel goes on FINALLY...

I'am finally getting around to putting it on...come this Saturday.....ITS GOING TO BE ON !!!!
i have a 90 GXL...anyone with the 9.5lb flywheel on their N/A around...if so let me know how it turned out
and was it what you expected ?

with the lightweight aluminum flywheel you get quicker revs and recover a bit more HP. You loose a bit of streetability as your deceleration is reduced (more brake wear), your HP/torque curve is shifted upwards, and something about "flywheel engery" affecting you competiveness in tight road courses.

I think mazda had that problem in their new Lemans car and had to increase the weight of the flywheel.

I've heard the lightweight steel is a good comprimise between streetability and HP/torque gains.
