Alternator removal help

Question Alternator removal help

Hey i narrowed the electrical problem in my 86 na to the alternator

I need to take it out and was just wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers or know where i can find this info out
I wanna know if there is anything i should watch out for

first take the aternator adjusting bolt off(the one on the top, right side), slide the alternator downward, then take off the botton bolt, and pull out the alternator.

Don't loose the small round spacer that will fall out! It is located between the bottom mounting bracket and the boss on the engine.

You can see the spacer Aaron is talking about.
Put a finger underneath as you push the alt out.

Furst thing, take the negative terminal off your battery, then do the other postz. Last thing after the installation of the altenator, is to reinstall the negative terminal on the battery. This piece of advice may seem like a waste of time, but if you don't and you let that large wire on the altenator touch a screwdriver or socket, well.......
