My alternator died again on me today, I've put two rebuilt ones on it in the last two months from Autozone..My original one lasted me to almost 80,000 miles, are these just crapy ones im buying??Does anyone know where i can get a quality one that won't cost an arm and a leg and can ship overnight??? Maybe a website or something??

 

Buy one from mazda.. the discount parts chain alts are worth exactly what you you pay for them, and generally are rebuilt (broken parts replaced) not remanufactured (all moving parts replaced).

 

wow...how much do i expect to pay??

 

There is also the choice of the FD alternator.
