alternate fuel pump source?
also while i'm in posting mode; at $309 the stock mazda fuel pump isn't exactly cheap, however needed (hmm 6-7 psi instead of 30 would explain why its doesn't like starting when too hot...!) just wondering if theres an alternate mazda/ ford part that might suffice and is a bit cheaper...? thanks for any help guys = )

He'll run rich with that thing and no way to tame it...
I just gave away my old pump to a buddy or you could've had it for the cost of shipping.
Used pumps in AU should be pretty cheap and easy to come by. The walbro is a nice unit, but will overpower the stock fuel pressure regulator causing the rail pressure to be higher than it should be. This needs to be addressed somehow. However, the walbro and an aftermarket FPR would still be $100 less than the factory pump.
