I'm liking every bit of the car, that orange actually makes the wing work for me, other than that black would be good too. But i love the hoodscoop.

But is she fast too?

 

she has a few mods..front mount intercooler, intake, exhaust, fcd, boost controller, and a few other things....

shes not the fastest car on the road, but she is plenty fast for me! in january, she is getting a streetported motor, ported wastegate s5 turbo(already have), ported throttle body(already have), walbro 255 fuel pump, 750cc secondary injectors, apex-i safc-2(already have) and stainless fuel line...... im aiming for 250-300hp tops!

 

on a scale of 1-10 ( 1 being a **** box and 10 being ) I'd give yours a 6.5

6.5 because I don't like the color( i would have gone to a darker color) and wing( but i'm sure you don't care what I think) I DO like the front end, the Mazdaspeed scoop, fenders and sides.....I have one request though.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE OLD STICKERS BACK ON....PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not too many people remember your car before but I do so PLEASE no stickers........post more pics.

How well did the body kit line up? What company did you get it through?

 

so theres the history of my car.....in picture form...lol.......

 

it needed a little fitting (as do most body kits)...but the overall fitment was pretty good...... its a raceonusa body kit!

 

how much have you spent on it since you bought it? i gotta admit, it looks pretty nice......not what I WOULD/AM doing but nice anyways..........ummmm....is your stock tach broken j/k


what turbo do you plan on using?

 

i have over 10k (documented) invested into it...... not saying there are 10k worth of parts on it right now.... but since having the car for 4 years... ive spent more than 10k on it. not to mention the things i didnt keep track of...whew

im not going crazy fast...i have an s5 turbo w/ a ported wastegate waiting to be put in...i only want like 250-300hp

 

damn.............hey, if it makes you smile everyday you see it then it was all worth it right? why are you trying to ONLY get 250-300 hp? What are your plans for it?

 

i have friends w/ crazy fast cars..... and they are great and all, but they are broken down more than they are running.... and i like to drive em, not repair them!

 

Nice transformation, though I did rather like when it origianlly had teh decals. Though id say it was a "steal me" situation. But it did turn out very well, even if you would have left it primer black I think everyone would have like it.

 

Can you get in more detail with the fitting of the kit. I've heard/read in other places that the kits from Raceonusa fit pretty good. I was thinking of getting some peices from them. The 240 guys seem to have the problems with the body kit pieces though, from the ones that I've seen around here mostly the fenders.

 

I like the new setup much better, I wasn't diggin the vinyl's. It's a great looking car, and I'm sure it looks much better in person. I will side with the majority on the wing, it just doesn't fit in my opinion. I'm just proud that people like you have so much pride in the FC to modify it to this extent.

I know all of you have seen some disgusting FC's (most are sold on ebay!) but this car looks good for sure. Congratulations on a beautiful car.



p.s. weren't you sponsored at one point? I seem to remember a free carbon fiber hood...

 

^ can we ban this guy? the only reason why decals would be acceptable on a car is if the companies are sponsoring you......"Mazda,""Mazdaspeed" and "pro-line graphics" will be the only things on my car.....

 

Im sorry if I took appreciation for the rarity of decent decals, however gaudy they appeared to others. Though I personally wont be sporting anything on the outside of my car I will sport the company logos inside on my sound system when it gets completed.

if you do you will you have a BILLBOARD on the side of your car that says "please steal every single piece of sound equipment I have in my car........look on the door...... this is what I have, pick and choose what you'd like"

sorry vipers but i think the stickers on your old car were hideous because they were so damn big.......but you all have to remember I'm the type of person that lays below the radar.......I am using an NA hood on my TII JUST to keep it a sleeper.

 

No I am not the typical ricer you hear on the roads nowadays. I prefer sound quility over the 'thump thump thump' you hear out of most cars along with the ever present weed eater exhaust notes. I currently dare anyone to steal my vehicle as even I cant get in without going in thru the hatch.

But as I stated my opinions I will now leave, letting you boys/men fight amongst yourselves over simple things as graphics and body work.
