Question help with tranny/hardware

hey guys,
just a quick up-date...I finally got pissed off enough to go work on the rex a little, was able to get the flywheel nut off and swapped the new flywheel on and torqued down. In the morning I'll put the tranny and driveshaft back in but need some help. It's been so damn long since I took the stuff off I can't remember if I still have all the hardware:/ what is it? 6 bolts with or without washers hold the PP to the FW...4 bolts and nuts at each end of the DS, what about washers/split washers? What bolts go around the tranny bell housing to hold it to the engine back. All in all, what holds what to what because all my hardware got mixed together and my cat might have helped me loose some of it too. By the way, it's an S5 NA. Anyway thanks for your help. Later

Six bolts and lockwashers. Two of which should not be fully threaded. Those two have a bare shank near the head of the bolt. Those six should have a distictly different look about them than the others.

I don't know what a DS is. Slow this morning.

The ones for the bellhousing........Different lengths. You'll figure it out as you go along.

Or go to http://www.mazdaformance.com/rx7parts.htm and look at the 86-88, Engine, page 1-L6 for the harware. And a picture of the bellhousing bolts and arrangement.

For the pressure plate: Two 0839-16-432
Four 9975-37-8118
Six 9997-10-800

Or the free online fsm at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com the engine rebuild section.

DS = Drive Shaft anyway thanks hailers, you rock. I looked in my service manual and saw that the DS bolts to the axle with 4 bolts with lock washers and nuts...and I had forgotten that it just slides into the rear of the tranny. I'll have to make sure about the bell housing bolts though, thanks
