All you fc3s gurus please help me out

i bought my 88 rx7 a while back and fixed everything major that needed to be fixed. but just last night my headlights didnt work all of a sudden. i already did a search but i couldnt find a direct answer.

at first i thought it was the lightbulbs but then both my lights are out. everything thing else in the car works fine. maybe its a bad fuse or something? any suggestions will be helpful and be appreciated. thanks

common problem is the headlight switch in your instrument cluster fails, try testing it as per the FSM or simply look at the connector and/or the circuit board inside the switch for signs of arcing/overheating/broken solder joints and replace the switch accordingly and possibly the connector as well.
