all i need is a price

i'm interested in purchasing this 90 t2 wih 70k miles and a blown turbo. everything is rebuildable and the body is prestine, it even has 3 inch piping and exhaust. the only flaw is a little rust on the fender (only on edge) and a tear on the drivers seat. how much do you think this car is worth, what should i buy for? he selling for 1500. the car has no stereo equipment (not a big deal to me, my third gen doesn't either).

My best guess is that whatever the previous owner did (or failed to do) to blow the turbo in only 70k miles also took its toll on the engine. A TII with a blown engine sells for about $500 USD in my area.

BTW, if you do get the car, don't run it with that 3" exhaust unless you upgrade the fuel system first, otherwise it will go lean and end up a wreck like the car is now.

Blown engine T2s are running around $800 to $900 in my area, although they are getting hard to find.

dude, i say go for it offer him $1300, see if he takes it. a 90 turbo II is worth a ton, plop a new motor from corksport in and you will be ready to go.

for an 87-88 TII, 900 is a fair price, but the 89-91's are pretty tough to get ahold of.

If the body and interior are what you described - buy it before somebody else does. That car's worth $1500 without an engine!
