NY alarm removal

I just bought an s4 and it had a box on the driver side kick panel with some kind of key thing. All the wires led to an alarm which to my knowledge never worked. So I started removing it and now my car wont start. My idiot lights go on but the starter wont turn over.

Any suggestions?

won't really help you, but i got a similar problem. my alarm was set up in the drivers door, and it doesn't work, but the car will start ect. but i think its draining my battery, and if i remove it, my windows don't work. with it in, my drivers window works perfect but the passenger barely works, goes down normal, but up is slow as ***** and doesn't really close unless you pull on it also. and the passenger switch only goes down.

stupid alarms

Look for a NAME on the alarm unit, then use GOOGLE to find the manual for it to learn how to disable it. For now, plug it back in like you found it. Mabe it'll start again. Maybe not.

it's a safety feature, it prevents you from starting the vehicle in case you left it parked in gear.

The clutch switch was probably disabled.
