Alarm Disabling

So, i bought my car with an alarm equipped, its fairly low-tech and called a shock sensor. It is locking my car up right now cause it wasnt installed correctly. I cant start my car or even crank it, i get no power at all. When i lock my car now, the alarm makes weird howling sounds. Light on the dash flashes when car is locked, does nothing when im trying to start it.

Can anyone tell me what i can do to disable it?

Depends on the alarm, but if you can get to the alarm module and its harness, you need to find 2 wires (different manufacturers have different colors) that are intercepting the starter wire at the ignition harness, the starter wire should be cut and routed through the alarm instead, obviously so the alarm relay can either enable or disable the starter.

If it is professionaly installed, most likely everything will be heavily taped and possibly loomed on top of that which makes it tricky. Most amateur installs will have all exposed wires visible.

To find the color of the starter wire at the ignition harness, look in the FSM to find the color and start there, as I don't remember the color off the top of my head.

I'll check this thread later when i am work if I have time and update you with wiring color information from Directechs, as I am just about to leave for work and don't have access yet.
