Airflow from outside around shifter

I want to install A/C, but outside air blows in around my shifter, cold air in winter, hot air in summer. Is there a way to properly seal it off completely without gerry-rigging it? I also smell exhaust fumes through there sometimes and I hate it Anyone with any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

o.k. exactly what you need to do is:

change all the rubber boots underneath your vynil/leather shifter boot. there are 3 boots if i remember correctly: outer, middle, inner. they are always on sale at ebay. or check ERNST Borchet at this addy

Ernstborchert4@hotmail.com

he also sell some other things on ebay, do a search for rx7 shifter boot.

hope this helped.
