I know there have been several threads regarding the effectiveness of RAM Air intakes and hood scoops. They all target stock engines or common mods. I have a carbed RX-7 and it NEEDS AIR. What is the best way to get the air to the carb? See the link, it is quite obstructed. That being said, it has tons of power, this is a weber side draft 53ida carb on a 91 ported engine with racing beat headers and exhaust sitting in an 89 convertible, as it runs (extra rich, not enough air to function over 5500 rpm), need air bad.
