Air intake

Thinking of replacing the air intake on 89 'vert. Any recommendations on brands of kits? Where to get the best price on-line?

Does anyone know of someone who sells a kit for a K&N? Is a K&N cone markedly better than a HKS kit?

just get a k&n. I made the mistake of getting a really expensive weapon r intake and it works, but I think it was a waste of money.

my favorites is from www.mariahmotorsports.com

They sell the K&N, piping adapter, cold air box, and they will stamp your OEM headlight airscoop to get more air into the cold air box.

a cone filter without an airbox will hurt more than help when the engine is warm.

If your going with a cone filter make sure you build or buy a cold air box, but remember a cone filter is worth only about 5HP without an exhaust.
