i just got my turbo II a few weeks ago, and living here in california i need to get this thing ready to pass a teset only smog.
the car's exhaust stinks failty bad, so i replaced the main cat with a bonez high flow cat. the car still stinks!
anyways, my main question is, I have to put the smog pump back on, and i was wondering if the Series 5 Turbo II uses the fresh air injection tube that goes to the cat.
another question is, if everything was in good working condition, and the front cat was not doing so hot, but the second cat is brand new, would it pass smog? has any one here in cali experianced this?
just trying to see what i need to get done before i take it in, dont have much more time before smog day is here. and dont have enough money to just start replacing everything right now.

oh yeah, one more question. dose anyone know if the Bonez high flow cat adn down pipe are leagal in california. i dont think they are do to the fact that you remove one cat. but this may not be true as i know the N/A bonez cat also removes a cat, and this is leagal. (removes 2 pre cats, but adds another main cat.)

The 1st cat is primarily for cold startup.
You will need air injection (belt driven or electric) for the main cat.
