Question air flow meter died -AFM???

My afm(maf) meter died.
The cone plunger thingy was stuck and wouldn't move. My car sounded like it was only running on 1 rotor.
At idle, it sounded just like this single rotor:

It missed alot(sounded a little like a helicopter).
The catalytic glowed red(lit lawn on fire).
Spark plugs looked horrible, plus it was flooding(something my '91 never did before).
I was lucky to figure it out and find a used one.

What really bothered me was how small the inlet is!
Does anyone make an AFM replacement that is bigger?
Who else have had their AFM fail?

I noticed that nopi has an AFM listed from Python. I am assuming(because of core charge) that this is the same.
Does anyone have a Python AFM on their car. Is it the same or is it bigger?
I was also thinking of getting a 2nd one and electronically wire the two AFMs(y-pipe) together in series.
Anyone try this yet?

You can't change or modify the AFM as it's output is spectific to the ECU. If you change to aftermarket programmable EFI you can ditch it, but otherwise you're stuck with it.
