Question Air Filter Questions

Hey Guys
Does anyone know how to make your own air filter connection. I want to get rid of the stock box and just add like a round k&n filter. Will this increase my cold air intake? What kind of tubing and that do i need to complete this? If anyone that has done this before could give me some pointers on how to do this it would be great

thanks

What year car do you have?

If you have an 86-88, you just need a generic cone plus the adaptor, which you can buy at http://www.krrd.com

If you have an 89+, you just need a generic cone which will clamp right on.

Mariah also makes a nice cold air box for the 2nd gens. I'd check that out too. http://www.mariahmotorsports.com
