BC air conditioning

my air conditioning is broken so i may as well remove it to free up a few pounds, how do i go about doing this and what does it look like, sorry im a car n00b.

Try doing a search in this forum for A/C removal.

Otherwise, its pretty simple. Remove the refrigerant according to Canadian environmental regulations and then unbolt the compressor, lines, condenser/radiator, and evaporator under the dash if you want. Download a free copy of the factory workshop manual from one of the links in the 2nd gen FAQ to get an idea of where things are located. if you are thinking of eventually putting it on you can save some time by de-pressurizing it...taking the frozen compressor off and plugging the lines.
