Air bleed on prim inj revmoval tech?
I am trying to remove my air bleeds from my primary fuel injector holes in the intermediate housing. What is the best way to get them out with out breaking them? I really don't want to pay 20 bones for plastic. Any good techniques out there?

I took an old wire hangar and bent it into a shape that looks like a double ended fishhook. Like two hooks back to back. Then you just poke it down in the hole and hook it under the edges of both sides and give a few yanks.
What you should worry about more than the 20 bucks to replace them is what happens if they snap off and fall into the engine.

On my 86, I bought a cheapie set of picks/hooks from NAPA and slipped one down in there. Mine had a little tiny hole in the side, I worked the hook into there and they pulled right out.

Sweet, I really like that pick idea. Not to worry about them falling in the engine bay The engine is on a stand and the air bleeds are the only thing left except the short block.
