Exclamation AHHH!!!! Car wont start!!

OK, bear with me here. Got an 86 RX-7 13B NA. This thing is not getting fuel from the injectors. The injectors work fine, had them tested. Fuel pump works fine. Injectors are not spraying though. For whatever reason they aren't getting a signal. Please help!!! Thanks for your help guys.

Check your ECU? That controls the fuel pulse usually, but have heard other problems that cause it, and the ECU is fine.

People second guess each other too much around here....the injectors are not giving fuel, BECAUSE I pulled the rail, left them wired to the rail, cranked it, and they're completely dry. Some advice would be very nice, instead of questioning how I know stuff. Thanks.

Injector resistor pack on the pass. side strut tower is likely unplugged. It's a silver box 4"x1"x1". Or the fuel lines are on backwards.

Nope, it's plugged in, and the fuel lines are on correct. Double a triple checked these today. This happened all of a sudden, and I dunno why. Kepp it coming guys, thanks!

It sounds like they just aren't getting the signal to squirt.

That's kinda what I figured, but if that's the case, where do I go from here to test/check it out? And/or fix it?

This is my girlfriends car, and the first import I've ever worked on. I'm more used to my 1973 Camaro....big difference, so this whole computer thing is kinda foreign to me.

you could have blown the resistor pack.

What I see on the strut tower is black plastic, I didn't see anything that was silver? Did I find the wrong thing?

What I saw was near the top. Plug on one side, and a conduit or hose on the other side, underneath the box. It's plain sight without having to remove anything.

OK, sorry, but you're gonna have to be a little more detailed. Like, how far down, what needs to be removed to locate it, etc. Sorry!

OK, great! Found it. It is plugged in. Is there a way of testing if it good or bad?

get out your multimeter, and fsm and go to town, if it's not that it could be the fuel pump.

Are you 100% sure there is fuel getting to the fuel rail?

Yes, 100% sure fuel is getting to the rail, 100% I've got spark. Didn't find out anything in the fsm on how to test the resistor.

Did you check the 15amp "engine" fuse found in the fuse box? Did you check all the fuses in the black fuse box under the hood?

Yup, all fuses are good, under the hood, and inside the car.

Get a testlight/multimeter and turn the key on... One of the 2 wires on each injector should show 12v... Does yours?
