aftermarket tps

Has anyone given any though to making some kind of aftermarket tps? It seems like you technically would be able to make a plunger style tps yourself using sensors sources from somewhere. Assuming you could find the right plunger which output the right signal, it seems like it could work. Seeing how the TPS is one of the major problems with RX7s it seems silly that no one has figured out a good way around it yet.

actually he factory TPS is quite good. It usually lasts at least 120K miles.

But your bets bet would be to try and adapt something like a Toyota or Honda one if you wanted something other than stock.
