Aftermarket Swaybars before Springs and Struts?

some people have suggested this as the biggest bang/buck suspension mod as opposed to kyb agx';s that i want. i was looking at rs-r down springs or just custom eibachs.

anyone installed both? were swaybars that good of a mod?

if the suspension feels shot, i would go in the order of shocks, springs, bars. remember the bars just balance out the roll by putting the pressure on both sides of the car's suspension. if the springs/shocks are crapped out, the car will still feel like ***.

If you're comfortable with the car, just get shocks/struts, messing with swaybars will just help with under/over steer problems that you may have..

Come on Node you should know better...

New shocks make the most difference.
Next go to springs - adjust shock damping to higher spring rates.
Stock springs are pretty soft.
Stock shocks are actually good *when they are working correctly*, but the majority of original shocks are failing or dead right now.

The stiffer springs will sorta act like stiffer sway bars.

Do the sway bars last - the stock ones are pretty damn big.

if you can find someone parting out a vert grab the sways from that. they are larger than the coupes and the sames as Racing Beat sells as "upgraded". Also I have the agx and RB vert springs and after all I spend I wish I added the Ground control coilovers. Spend the few extra dollars for the coils.
