Aftermarket or stock rear counter weight?

Ok so I was wondering if there was a difference in using the aftermarket ACT rear counterweight versus a stock rear counter weight?

If you mean the stock rear automatic counterweight, no; provided they're for the correct series motor. The stock 5-speed counterweight is integrated as part of the stock flywheel (hence the need for a counterweight when installing an aftermarket flywheel).

the only reason aftermarket ones are made is because the stock automatic counterweights are hard to find. they both serve the same purpose, either will work fine. just use whatever you can get cheapest and make sure its the right series.
