but thats a good write up dude... everyone with an FC should get an aftermarket steering wheel.
I didn't say it was a different number, just that you make smaller circles (to which is a smaller lever, which requires more force). Lock to lock is dependant on steering rack gearing.

shouldn't you have a 21mm wrench of some sort for your lug nuts?
or am I thinking of the wrong end of the 4-way.

Anyhow, nice write-up.

^^ Its a good point, I didn't like the idea of using the 22mm 6pt, but it worked out

Got a digital camcorder with a still function. Grainy, but the picts are decent...

See the pictures... Don't gripe about the interior being broken or dirty, its getting fixed slowly... And I know the silver doesn't match the gauges, I've got white faces on their way...

^i looked all over the place for the wheel... even honda forums. it doesn't seem like too many places sell nardi steering wheels but i got lucky and found someone on this forum that had a few. funny thing is that "old skool" wheel is the nardi competition and didn't come out too long ago.

i'm also looking for a nardi gara wheel if anyone has one and willing to part with it.

did anyone else have a hard time finding a hub for their fc? i ended up just getting a cheap universal one off ebay. i was thinking of a quick release hub but i didn't want my wheel coming off while i was driving. my car sits at home for long periods of time sometimes and i just wanted the extra security.

Quick releases (the decent ones) are about $250 for the hub alone. And the steering wheel wouldn't fall off while drivng, you'ld have to see the hub to understand how it works. It couldn't accidentaly just unlock. Well.. I suppose if you buy some POS knock off, it probably could just accidentaly unlock, but the decent ones wouldn't...

Just installed the white guages and carbon fiber bezel. Doesn't look to bad with the steering wheel...

Just got a new wheel today gonna install tomorrow, glad I found this. One Question The steering wheel came with a metal ring with it, how the hell does it fit on the hub with that other ring in there or do you really need it?

Not sure about the metal ring, but it should be obvious enough. The horn works off ground contact from the metal plate in the steeing wheel, itm ay be related to that.
