aftermarket seats

I like the seats in my convertible but I am looking at a cost of $6-700 just do get new leather put on them. Has anybody had any luck with any aftermarket seats? I found some nice corbeaus for $900. Recline and everything. Any ideas?

Seat comps like corbeau have seat rails for the FC so its essentially plug and play.

I have Mazda MX3 seats in mine. They look good, feel good, and they weren' that hard to adapt into my car. I'm just going to get them recovered once the nicer weather hits.

Is that $900 apiece? That would be insane. Even if I was a loaded I would never spend that much on seats. I saw some nice ones for like $300. Thats about all I would ever spend on some seats.

900 dollars is not unreasonable for a pair of seats.

I'm rehabbing an 88 vert and need to replace the seats. Been looking in this site (and others) but have yet to find anything worthwhile. Any ideas?

For a pair, yeah. That is why I was asking if it was for one or two.

I got my corbeau forza's for about 600 for the set w/ brackets and 2 harnesses (we're a dealer though hehe). sure, they make brackets for the car but they are NOT pplug and play...they stink and the wholes are all off which means it requires some patience and a prybar to get them to fit the way they are supposed to. the forza is a racing bucket (i got black w/ black wear patches) meaning it doesn't recline but it's stil comfy and BOY is it light!!!

My friend just bought some 00' celica seats and they look nice. He got them for $250 for both I believe. Might wanna check it out on ebay. I'll let you know how they fit, once he puts them in.

i just put seats in my convertible earlier this week. they are a little tall and scrub the ceiling barely but the top goes down no problem. they are APC seats, sorry guys i dont have much $$$, but im stoked they fit tightly and with an aftermarket headrest or pillow the APC will be covered up.
as far as putting them in i had some problems with the passenger side cuz the mounts arent level from left to right so at first is sat sloped but i figured it out and its not to shabby

Ericdrivesrx-7 personally id go aftermarket but take measurements before you buy cuz our verts are quite tight in there
good luck
have fun
