Aftermarket power door locks/alarm
Today, I got my universal power door lock actuators from the mailman. I had just got off from my first job and had an hour of time I could possibly mess with my car.
I took the door panel off and finally figured out a way to mount the door lock actuator. It was cake. The units work great and for anyone that does not have power door locks and would like to install some, I would recommend getting an alarm as well that can control them. I bought the actuators for $30 shipped brand new on ebay and the brand new UNGO alarm for $40. If you are a DIY type guy, I highly recommend this. I will take some pictures of the actuators hopefully this saturday and you will see how easy it is. There are only two wires. Most alarms have an output for these two wire units and with two relays you can be rolling in notime.
If I run into troubles, I will let you guys know, but so far everything is straightforward.

actually, the acuator is the motor for the power door locks, its the thing that does the work and you hook the power up to it. I found some more on ebay. The ones I bought are identical to this one:

If you want keyless entry, i think they have a package with the acutators. Regardless, you will need some type of universal power door lock actuator.
