You can get the stock pedal pads from Mazdatrix for like $5 each.

They're supposed to be like that for heal-toeing though, aren't they? Does anyone track their FC with those pedals and have any feedback? My gas pedal is pretty shoddy and I've had my eye on a brushed set of those pedals.

I'm not a qualified race driver, but I've been racing for years and have been framiliar with those techniques for about 3 years.. there great for heel-toe shifting..

-I say that mostly for those that install the pedals for the first time and are not framiliar with the setup.. Say, you start driving and end up braking for the first time and hit the gas as well as the brake... typically catches you off guard at least once.

I have a set of sparco pedals and I've never used them lol.

The universal pedal kits will work. I'd drill holes and use screws if I were you, don't use the crappy *** brakets.

I've tracked my TII with these pedals and they work fine. I should note though that depending on brake pedal travel of each car one may have issues with your heel getting stuck under the accelerator when heel toeing. sometimes on the street though ill tap the gas while hitting the brake by accident but its no big deal

the autovation ones are badass, but 100 bucks is a little too much
i like the razo ones because of the way the edges extend to each other
its just that i cant find a single place that sells them

AutoVation has had 2 group buys in the GB section.

https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-center-69/gb-autovation-fb-fc-fd-billet-racing-pedal-special-482563/
https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-center-69/autovation-fc-fd-billet-aluminum-pedal-group-buy-special-plus-new-fd-foot-rest-452156/

It looks like there are more people that still want them too. Post in the threads for them to bring the GB back like others have. They brought it back once I don't doubt they will again. You can also try PMing them and ask if you can still get the GB price(they did for me). I have the Matte Rotor pedals on my FC and I love em.

I've got Razo pedals, but they are just covers. They get the job done quite well, though. I'll try to get pics in a little bit. Unfortunately, they came with the car, so I have no idea where to get them. They are excellent for the track, though. I can heel-toe (well, operate the gas and brake with my right foot at the same time) very well.

I got them in the group buy.....SICK pedals, I got the rotor stamped ones....

They do work excellent for heel toe shifting, but to be honest I have pretty big feet and made light work of this before the pedals - hehe

all in all - great fit, great looks (can't beat a pedal with a f*&%ing ROTOR on it!!), and great price (thanks GB section!)

I would recommend these to anyone

Yep, I'm the same way, but its still much easier with the pedals made for it. I can't do a true heel-toe because my legs are too long and I have to bend my knees out to fit around the steering wheel.

They're pretty sexy. This summer if I meet up with other MN folks maybe I'll let you take my FC for a short drive?

I have Autovation pedals from the first group buy, back in the day.. I love them. I'm ordering a set for my Miata before this next season starts, if I have the cash after my turbo conversion.. I find that they don't slip or anything even when wet/dirty.

I'm pretty dead set against a non-screwed in cover. I've driven a cars with the slip on, clamp down style, and they always seem to slide.. I'll never have them in my car.

UNIVERSAL PEDALS ARE GAY!@$!@$

Stop being pussies and man up and get some made for FC3S
I've seen the OEM Mazda pedals that were an option in japan on ebay, theyre skinnier and say RX-7 on them

I myself have the autovation pedals and paid like $65 or 70 for them and includes all 3 pedals and the dead pedal and I love them. Just make sure to get it right drilling the first time and space the gas/brake from each other so if you wear skater shoes you dont catch both pedals too easily
I love them, theyre very kickass. Buy them! Very nice hardware and took about an hour w/ a drill. My roommate helped because I don't know how to drill lol, also helps to have someone to hold the pedal, or put a block of wood behind it.
Also put some newspaper over your floormats/carpet as youll have metal shavings EVERYWHERE. I killed a vacuum cleaning up and I even had newspaper. The stragglers that escaped the newspaper killed my damn vacuum!

WTF rotor stamped autovation pedals, goddamnit. I bought em like the month they came out!@$!@$
I'll have to buy new ones just for the rotor stamps LOL

I could healtoe better w/ my stock FB pedals and setup, just mustve been perfect spacing.

I got these for bling cause I missed the ones that the guy was fabbing at work before his boss canned that idea and I never got em and kicked myself for it so bought autovations as soon as I saw em.

Im not sure how the razo's are, but judging from the pictures they use the same shoddy *** brackets as most "pedal kits" do.. The brackets are a royal pain in the ***.. they are pieces of dirt, complete garbage, blah blah blah.. if you want to get some different ones, get ones you can mount properly and do some drilling to make um stay on.. my bracket ones fell off, i feel mass hatred towards those canadian tire pieces of ****, and I am gunna keep the factory pedals the way they are now until i decide to buy some quality.. you really do get what you pay for..
