aftermarket pedals?

Are there any out there? These rubber ones are pretty ugly. Grip tape is ghetto in my book. I'm think of brushed aluminum style. A dead pedal would be nice too.

These are technically pedal covers. I know of no aftermarket pedals that would actually replace the stock units.

I wonder why the polished ones are $30 cheaper than the matte.
That seems backwards.

Those are pretty swanky, I was expecting cheapo ugly clamp-on Walmart style ones when I clicked the link

It does seem odd that the matte finish ones are $30 bucks more, and it sucks that those are the ones I want ha ha

the polished probably comes like that and they just cut it, the matte requires someone to put it in a blast cabinet. That would be my guess.

Used to be a forum member who made those YEARS ago before everyone else did. I got the very last set from him

Sounds reasonable.
Still, $30 for ten minutes of cabinet time is excessive (assuming they're blasted not tumbled, which should be even cheaper).

The brake and clutch pedals are aluminum under the covers. I took mine off and drilled them then added grip tape. You said you didn't like the grip tape but if you could figure out to give them a brushed look you might be in business. I got my gas and dead peadals from a kit and added the grip tape to the gas. Here is a picture though tape is worn some andhas some mud on it.
