But it wont fit in the front of my car which is only about 18 inches wide (rotary lotus seven), here are some pics to show the area it needs to fit in. It can go either right in front of the engine, just behind the radiator, or off the passenger side bolted to teh bodywork in a little aerodynamic houseing that Ive been thinking about building

OMG a super seven(ok dont get technical with me).
Wont it fit over the rad with the nose piece on. I dought it blocking a lil bit of that huge rad would make it run hot. Just my .02

Looks like you will be making custom lines anyway so just by the proper AN adapter fittings to accomodate the oil cooler you have in mind. I think the oem thread size is somewhere between 20-25mm.

What size AN fitting is coming off teh engine then?
ok you all forced me to show some other pics of my build, please comment on how cool it looks.
This has been the most labor intensive and hardest to build things Ive buit. Ihave had to master alot of different stuff to get the car to the point I'm at now, everything from sheet metal fabrication, to fiberglass, suspension design, interior egronomics, chassis building, alignment.
I'm dead in the middle of designing a fuel system right now, and starting to think about the oil and brakes next, then the car should be ready to drive, and hopefully done within the next few months.

Nice project!
How about a stock 2nd gen oil cooler on top of the radiator verically on the transfer side (driver's) of the radiator with the inlet/outlet at the bottom. The stock cooler is quite good, but a quality aftermarket thin oil cooler the size of the radiator would also work well $$$.
Oil temps are important as the rotors are oil cooled. The cooler the oil temps the less heat from the rotors being transfered to the intake charge making more power
Oil cooler first, radiator second- just like stock (or dedicated oil cooler ducting as you mentioned).

one 16mm to -10an adapter fitting for the front cover
three 18mm to -10an adapter fittings for oil cooler and rear housing oil return.
one 16mm, three 18mm copper, alum, or bonded/captured o-ring crush washers (stock alum. works fine)
Then your AN fittings/hose.
Mazdatrix has the adapters in the oil system section with the crush washers if you don't want to find them as you order the AN fittings. Probably has the AN fittings as well, but at no great prices.
