no one has deisgned an aftermarket manifold to fit an n/a block for a turbo conversion but to tell the truth i bet it would be a great selling item.

The turbo kit sonik rat sells has a aftermarket manifold that fits the na block which lets you slap on a turbo. Its a ida setup too, cheaper than tweak it and basically the same thing.

SonicRat's manifold is an intake manifold, not an exhaust manifold. His kit includes an upper and lower intake that like the TII have enough space to mount the turbo using the stock manifold. Aftermarket manifolds will also work, according to the website.

Nothing against SonicRat, but I don't see the advantage of using his kit over a modified TII intake (or making a custom exhaust manifold and keeping the NA intake).

i would think essentialy a na intake would be best for the reason that it has 6 ports as apose to 4 ... woul;dnt that make for better air flow?... and so what ur telling me is no matter what an aftermarket erxhaust manifold would not help the turbo fitting ?

No aftermarket manifold will fit unless modified.

As for manifold choice, it depends. The TII manifold can be easily modified to fit the NA's 6 port block. The NA manifold is not great for wild porting or high power applications. Really nothing to do with the numnber of ports. However the 6 port block has larger port area then the 4 port block.
