Aftermarket front tow hook?

Anyone know where to purchase an aftermarket front tow hook? There is a stock one that sticks through the grill but its too far back and cant put a strap on there without damaging the bumper.

Thanks in adavance

If yes just google aftermarket tow hooks, go to images & click on one you like. Should take you to a site that may sell them. I see these two on everything from Hondas to BMW's

My friend had the top one on his DC4.

How do you install one of these bad boys on an FC?

Drill & bolt on where you want it on the bottom of the bumper.

I have the front one. The rear one is really not any better than stock.

i think tow hooks are whack... make you look like a honda cause everyone thinks they are JDM.. some cars can pull it off others just look to ricer and enver get used anyway

but it does serve as a purpose when you have a body kit or something or at a drag strip where you dont drive in reveres and have a truck tow you back LOL

idk just my opinion

tow hooks are incredibly convenient for any largely tuned car. Especially if its been lowered or has an aero kit.

For time attack sessions or big racing sanctions above the limited class, you probably tow your car to the event, or keep it in a flatbed or truck container. Having the tow hook there will help you get your car in and out of events without damaging parts.

For anyone that does any sort of racing in their car, or is slammed to the ground, why wouldn't you get a tow hook? its just good planning and precaution.

ended up getting my towhook from roninspeedworks.com
http://roninspeedworks.squarespace.c...s-s5-tow-hook/

fits S5. I bought it for my S4 because of when I tow the car he factory hook is so far back in the bumper I can't get a chain on it. Had to trim a piece behind the bumper but fits nice.

Here are a few pics with my very dirty bumper. urgh, nats.

im kind of skeptical about them on a street car, might make your car easier for tow theft, they could pull the car out of the parking spot and throw it on the flat bed faster.

I would do this. Hell, I am going to do this myself. Looks like a good deal. Tow hooks are a great investment, especially when dropped.

The only time the car is out of my garage is when I am next to it. If someone wants my car that bad they can have it. I have it appraised and insured.

or they could break your window, drop the e-brake and push the car down the block on foot.

i need this, my car is 4 inches of the ground and i have trouble accessing my tow hook. but i don't think its rice. for me rice is anything that is made to look functional but not functional. like if the hook was made out of paper or carbon fiber.

I have to agree, if you dont legitly need one, then you dont need to buy one. Especially since the honda's ruined it by putting them on there car and claiming its jdm
