Aftermarket ECU, what have u removed/whats not needed?

Hi,

While im waiting for my turbo to comeback from getting hi-flowed i got impatient and started removing some unneccesary pollution gear and other gadgets.
So far have removed Airpump and associated plumbing, BAC valve, Air Control Valve and air piping to CAT.
Just wondering what else people have removed??

The car runs a Microtech ECU so most of this stuff isnt being used anyway, i noticed there's a few solenoids and sensors around the joint. Anyone have any idea what the sensor on the Clutch slave cylinder is supposed to do? It's a little black single wire box. possibly a magnetic microswitch?

The "sensor" on the clutch slave is a capacitor to filter the signal to the oil pressure gauge.

You can pull everything but the injectors, TPS, air and water temp sensors. Everything else on the engne related to the stock ECU can go.

SInce we are talking about removing junk.

MY Car still runs on stock ecu. WHat is all the stuff that goes inside the red circle on stock cars. This car in the pic oviously had all the crap removed.

What is it, what dpes it do, and can it be removed with stock ecu.

I know some relays and connectors for the Air Conditioning is bolted in there.

Check the Haynes.
