Well I can take the lower manifold off without taking the VDI and upper tb and filter off. But I dont expect anyone to do that.

Thiers 4 bolts and 2 nuts all 12mm on the lower manifold. After you take those off and the upper manifolds and vacume lies , then take out the oil metering bolt things. thier two for the lower manifold. I use an adjustible wrench. Be ready to buy some new oil metering lines. I usualy brake the old ones taking them off because their brittle. Good idea too.

Next take the lower man off and the sleeves should slide right out. Take the rods out as well. I J/b welded a dime in the little holes. Works great. I took mine out and put them back in to see if I can tell a difference but I can barely tell with them in as opose to having the pineapple sleeves glued in. thnx

The pineapple sleeves make your car sound a little smoother and drive a little smoother as well as a little bit more HP. Very nice.

Easily done. Get unbolt them, use a screwdriver to pop the turning thing off, and you're done. The... uh... turny thing... is still there, so you can sip-tie them down.

you can either remove actuators and keep them tied open or you can totally remove them you do not have to have something to plug the holes cause im really not sure what holes your talking about just put your manifold back on and use a NEW gasket

There's a rubber gasket around the rod, no need for any modification if you just want to remove the actuators, and zip-tie them open.

performance will drop due to loss of low-end torque. Other than that.... I think it's all good.

You can remove the sleeves and leave the actuators on. However I would recomend fixing them rather thean dumping them........
