After new exhaust A/F guage wont go all the way down

I decided to put on my old ssautochrome on in place of my RB Turboback just for *****. i used the RB DP and fabbed up a test pipe to replace the resonator in the middle that comes with the RB TBexhaust. after replacing my exhaust, my A/F guage reads full rich all of the time even at idle. It doesnt even try to fluctuate. Even when i let off the gas to deccellerate, the guage still reads that their is a lean amount of fuel going in. when i had the RB on, it would read stoich all of the time and read no fuel when deccel like it should. Its almost as if the guage added 2 or 3 vallues to itself after putting the ssautochrome on. (its an autometer af guage)

Check your grounds - especially the bell housing to firewall clip-on.
The oxygen sensor generates 1 volt of low current signal and it needs a solid ground nearby.

That downpipe stainless steel?
Might not have enough conductivity to properly ground the O2 sensor.

The DP is a rb steel one. it just doesnt make sense, im going add some extra grounds to the exhaust to see if it effects anything

Is it a 1-wire one?
Here's a trick to help with grounding...
The 1-wire O2 sensor grounds through the body, so crimp a male spade or open end (like a two prong fork) connector to a piece of wire.
Make sure it's crimped, as soldered connectors don't last long with the heat.
Get a small pipe clamp to secure the connector on the O2 sensor body - tighten.
Connect the other side to a good known ground.
