MB's are pretty good. They are a fairly decent size (between 17x9, 9.5 +17, 12 IIRC) and aren't stupid heavy like other cheap wheels. Plus they look pretty sweet fit with coils....

Weapons on Skizzles car ( These wheels are actually for sale on our forum right now with tires for a great price):

yeah MBs are coo imo.. no one is gonna knock you for having rotas or sportmax.

Wheel selection has to be the most important visual mod/investment that you will make, so choose wisely. Good wheels will either make or break the overal look/quality of the car.

Good source for used JDM wheels

and good prices too.. you might find some old school rims for the same price as new rotas... and those old school wheels will always be respected.

at just over 1G you can get O.Z. Alleggerita HLTs.... I know I know but they really do seem to be a pretty good "bang for the buck", come in a million (ok not really) color choices, and weigh somewhere (can't quite remember) around ~14 lbs. in 17x8

rims off a mustang is what they are talking about. You know the ford mustang. Any of them off the 99-04 style will fit.

HOLY ****! Those are literally my dream wheels. What are you asking for them? I probably won't be able to afford it, but I'd like to know just in case some miracle occurs and I come into some money.

wheels sized for a mustang, not just mustang wheels lol.. aftermarket mustang wheels are going to typically be staggered for RWD cars.. so its a decent basis to go by if you do not know good wheel size/offsets. You dont want to put narrow skinny wheels, they will look worst than stock.

Cars that typically suffer from owners with bad wheel selection are Mustangs and 350zs, where the owners want to "bling" out their car by buying the cheapest rims they think is cool... and they are usually some horrible sized wheels that are designed for a honda, skinny and no stagger/offset. You see it all the time with majority of those cars with aftermarket wheels.. Wheel shops will be happy to sell you any rims and tell you "it looks good bro".

I'm a little supprised no one has suggested 5zigen FNo1rc's yet. ok, they are a little played out, but for the price you can't beat them IMO.

Haha.

Rota wheels cost too much money. Seriously, they do. Upwards of $900 for knock offs because the wheels they knocked off are $3000+ new and $1500-2000 used.

FWD fitments are cheaper because fwd is gay.

I'm debating mustang cobra r 18x10.5 rears with 17x9 fronts. Fronts are +23 and rears are +20. $509 shipped to the front door, heavy as **** probably.

OR.....mb battles in 17x9.5 +15. I can go to discount tire direct and buy them a pair at a time, i hear they're lightweight and they're technically jdm. CST

Both will look good on bn low low sexy style. I really like the cobra r style but can't find them with the fake 2 piece bolt holes. The other ones are bland looking.

I'll make some of my money back selling my 002's to a local this summer.

Suggestions and HOLY DEAD THREAD BATMAN!

You can get Rota P45Rs in 17X9 +25 for under $750 shipped.. that is from wheeldude.com and there are cheaper prices out there for them. Obviously still more expensive than Cobra knockoffs, but they will be lighter.

They dont make the Cobra R rivet style in 18 in sizes that I am aware of. Just get the 17X10.5 in the back.

Woops, forgot about this tread. I actually ended up buying some new bronze 5zigen FN10R-C's. 17x10 35mm offset in the rear and 17x8 25mm offset in the front...absolutely gorgeous with the sparkling black mica paint job. I post some pics when I take some
