Affixing side trim (s4)

The side trim behind one of my rear wheels is lifting off. It remains attached where the rear side marker is ( in the middle of the trim panel) I have tried to reaffix the trim with double sided 3m tape but that isnt strong enough and it continues to lift off on either sie of the side marker light. any suggestions?

Never had a problem with the 3m double sided tape. Did you clean the body and trim properly before trying to install?

Try a thin coat of epoxy, preferably 15 minute or longer.

epoxy

i am very familiar with epoxy as i repair and build high performance boats as another hobby. I have a ton laying around. What exactly do you mean by "15 minutes or longer"? Do you mean setting time or the ammount of time to keep it clamped.
Any suggestions on methods of clamping tot he rear skirt while still on the car?
I am somewhat worried about how expoxy would hold up with all the vibration and jarring of the application. It is my experience that expoxy becomes rather brittle over time and if it ripped off i would end up with quite a mess. Is there a tape with more strnght than the 3m stuff?

Setting time, don't want it to dry out before applying.I used it to hold my front side marker lamps on my old 92 grand am for two years and it's still holding.
