Aem coils

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone is using the AEM IGN-1A coils? If so, how are they working for you? Any improvements with idle, performance, or gas mileage?

Not looking for a debate here as to why anyone would use them, or if they're better. Just want to know if anyone is using them and what noticeable differences have you observed.

Thanks!!

These coils are especially desirable for a 1st gen guy like me using stock coils. I am about to remove the dizzy and go with the CAS running off my haltech. For me, this is the perfect time to decide what I want to do about the coils. Not interested in upgrading to a 2nd gen Direct fire set up. Already ran a 2nd gen leading coil on my SE and seemed to be more trouble finding a location for the bulky thing that what it was worth. I like the idea of these 1A coils having the ignitor buit in. I'm hoping that I can have a real clean look when all is wired, if I decide to go with it. Anyway, I thought you 2nd gen guys might already be using them because of the company's claim that they give the best of both worlds------a CDI high energy spark that has a long duration with no CDI box/controller needed.
