Advise on low key after market cat backs
I was looking into HKS Silent Hi Power Exhaust, but I haven't seen anyone around my area rocking this...
I saw a video of a 10ae with it installed but I couldn't really gather how loud it was from the video..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEXzJG3y5VM
any input if this is worth getting
(Only reason I'm looking into getting a new exhaust, i want something a bit quieter..my current exhaust is super bling cops only mess with me if I have the silencers off)
any other exhaust system recommendations are wanted as well

Racing beat is as "low key" as it gets.
I personally prefered the look and sound of my Greddy Power Extreme, but I am happy with the RB unit, its very well made, sounds nice at all RPMs and does not attract unwanted attention.

On another note, you realize that the "catback" is just the Y pipe and mufflers right? You also realize that RB mufflers (at least the turbo variety) do not bolt to the stock Y-pipe?
I have the Apexi GT spec cat back and looooove it. Nice and deep. It's rather large diameter, but I ran it on my NA for a year with no noticeable power problems and it wasn't loud at all, then again I had the stock manifold and cats. Now it's on my TII and still sounds amazing. Though if a low-key LOOK is what you are going for as well, this probably won't work so well :P
Is this for a turbo or na?

Don't get me wrong, the exhaust is quiet by aftermarket standards on a rotary. I just want to avoid all attention from cops and other motorists. I want something that people will assume is stock when they hear it. The HKS does not do that. It is obviously aftermarket and louder than stock. I do have a downpipe and mid pipe though. If you still have a cat it may be very quiet.
BTW, I have previously run stock exhausts, Apexi N1's, RB's, generic Ebay mufflers and this HKS on N/A and Turbo FC's so I have a very good idea of what loud and quiet is on a FC.
Hope that helps,
Steve
I know that the RevTII exhaust is not compatible with the stock y-pipe, but the RB TII catback exhaust works just fine. I've used it. Also, measured stock vs RB y-pipe and the pipe diameters are identical. RB Y-pipe joins were no better than stock. I say don't even waste the money.
As far as a low-key single, I've never seen a pre-made system that wasn't loud as ****. OTOH, what about building your own with an Apex'i World Sport II muffler and maybe a pre-silencer? Should be light, free-flowing and very reasonable.

Why not just keep the silencer on what you have now? I just don't understand, if you get a single your more than likely gonna need the silencer. If you dont want to get the RB exhaust then what other answer do you need.
