Advice On A Starter Problem (88 S/4
Ok, gentlemen...can a dragging starter mimic a dead battery...sometimes she turns over good then slow then down to really slow then stops...but battery is ok because it completely recharges on charger in 1 minutes and if it were that dead it would take hours.
Any Ideas ? Thanks

Don't tell me you don't have a spare starter laying around, Harley...With all the parts that you've changed, you should have damn near 1/2 a car worth of parts laying around, lol...
Check your 10 volt "crank" signal at the ECU while starting...If it remains at about 10 while the starter is dying, it's probably the starter, it it starts to drop, and keeps dropping while the starter is dying, you'll know there is something wrong on the electrical supply of things. And the first thing I would guess would be a tired battery, in that case....
