Hey everyone, Im pretty new to the form

Anyway Im lookin for some advice, I just bought an 88 SE and looking for some advice

First off Ive been making slight body mods, I put on some 1990 side mirriors (because those black ones 86-88 are ugly ) hehe and put on some 1990 taillight (the old ones were not bad, I jsut think the new ones look cooler)

I have had soem problems installing the taillight though, all the bolts are secure on the inside but they dont quite fit, i know tehy are supposed to fit all gen 2 models except the convt. The lights dont fit flush with the body. My question, Is this because my license plate frame is still from the 88 model and the 90 lights jsut dont fit right with it?

Also advice on general performance mods i Can do
Ive got Racing Beat Headers and some HKs Exhust that the previous owner added and a K&N air filter

What other basic stuff can I do to give it a little from Pep?

I carefully clipped of the edges of the s4 Licence Plate trim to accomadate the s5 Taililights however. You wouldn't even notice It If you were to look at It.
