Advice needed for matched blets
I'm going to be ordering some matched alternator belts for my dual pulley and was wondering what brands people have had success with.
I used Gatorbacks with not much luck. I ordered a matched pair, but they wore unevenly. When I first put them on there was even tension on them. Within a week or two you wouldn't have guessed they were a matched pair. The outer pulley had alot more slack in it.
I'm using the pulley from rotaryinnovations and I don't think the pulley is the problem. I've got a friend who is using the same pulley with no problems

i just used napa belts... bought two at the same time, worked fine. One was a little tighter initially, i put it on the inside and a week later they were tensioned evenly.

It's going to be nearly impossible to find two belts that are the exact same size. I use belts from the dealer, which are just Gates belts (in my area anyway). They seem to do the job. But you will always end up with one a little tighter then the other.
