advice needed

i started the car (s4 tII), allowed it to warm up for six minutes and then drove to work. it was a casual drive without any heavy throttle and boost. so, i parked the car and sat in there for five minutes for it to cool down before it was turned off.
anyways, i had to run some errands and came back to the car about ten or twenty minutes later...
i turned the key and the engine started. but imediately, the rpm dropped to zero and the engine was off.
i tried again, and it did the same thing...
then after the fifth or sixth time i bounced my foot on the throttle to keep it from dying. it worked but the idle seemed really weak and settled around 300 to 400 rpms. is there anything i can do about this problem?
thanks, sodara

oh, my car is 87 tII, all stock with 60,000 miles.

would that count as a hot-start problem? Im not sure... you are in MN, so the engine could have cooled off in that time. Check the compression and see where that leads you.

Check your Radiator and your Radiator Hose. See if there is any leaking.

I would suggest to change your PLASTIC stock radiator into metal one. Any metal radiator that fits into your FC should be fine.

Other than that, check your Intercooler.

You might need a new Turbo Timer if you want to keep your FC longer. I recommend Apexi Turbo timer. It's around 80 to 90 dollars.

Hope it helps.

sounds like you have a vacuum leak somewhere, check the TID for cracks, they are notorious for that. as well check over all the other vacuum lines and intercooler hoses.
