Adverse effects from a large exhaust leak?
For the last couple of months I have suffered with a large gash in my main convertor (they're all gutted) and since then I have noticed that I have a noticable lack of power above 3k, and she now hesitates like a bitch...
I have cleaned up all my grounds, new plugs + wires. I also sent the injectors out and had them cleaned, put a new fuel filter on, and adjusted my TPS and other sensors properly.
I don't have any vacuum leaks I know of, and until the engine gets really warm I hold a steady 800 rpm idle. When It has ran for 30 minutes or more I get a steady 500-600rpm idle. The voltage stays at the 14v mark at all times unless it's at the aformentioned 500rpm mark which is below the alternator's operating limits.
I am also running the aux. ports off the air pump and they are timed correctly. The engine timing is perfect as well.
Do you think it's my large exhaust leak causing the bogging and lack of power? I know for a fact I am getting a very low amount if any in backpreassure, and it sounds like ***.
I just need to find a nice Racing Beat collective header to match the pre-silencer I have sitting in my garage to fix it, but I'm curious how much this is effecting my car right now (since I probably won't be able to mess with it for a couple more months).

Dammit, sometimes this forum software gets the better of me. I just noticed my other post went through even though I got a nasty PHP error.
Back on subject, I can't wait to fix it so I can finally ditch the air pump.. That thing is too ugly for me.
How much should one expect to pay for a collected RB header used, and are there any other brands that will fit with the presilencer?
