Adkins Rotary
Hey guys, I signed up here mainly to do research for a friend. But I am also considering buying an RX7 turbo. But on to the point of this thread.
My friend (Spaz) is going to purchase a built engine from Adkins Rotary. It will be low compression and come equipped with a Camden super charger. The engine will make in the area of 320 hp (probally crank) and price is around $5100.
We of course have never done any buisness with this company but have heard the name more than once. Any feedback on this company would be appreciated. Also do you think this would be a good route to go with a 2nd Gen?
Thanks

Sounds like a plan for non-turbo forced induction.
Whenever I need a part I can't get elseware, I use Atkins. Great people, even tho' sometimes a little slow contacting thru e-mail. Even still, I pretty much exclusively do business with them; and they haven't done me wrong yet.

Great, we were just needing a little feed back. My friend has had a few RX7's (one with a blown motor in his yard) and is getting another one (1991) in about two weeks. I have been thinking of going for a 240sx but I may change my mind after I drive his car.
Thanks again

I have spent 1000's of $'s with Atkins ... I have nothing but good things to say. Prolly the most reliable place to get "hard parts" Like apex's, rebuild kits & stock engine parts.
