Adjusting TPS, BAC screw doesnt do anything

Ok so I adjusted my TPS down to 1K ohm using the TPS screw. Turned the car on and it was idling at the low 800s to high 700s. So I jumped the initial set plug and moved on to the BAC screw. I turned it both ways and I didnt really notice a difference. How much do I have to turn the screw to see a difference? and which way do you turn it to lower idle? The car is an S5 TII.
