Adjusting Headlight beams

Wow, I dont know if the last owner was blind or just stupid.

The headlights are aimed sooo high up that they point at fricken the undersides of overpasses and at hanging signs from em!

How do I adjust the beam?

there are phillips type screws; one on the top and one on the side of the headlight for adjustments.

Pull up to within 5 feet of a wall at night. Mark the wall at the center of the headlight.

Back up 25 feet.

At 25ft back the headlight center should be in the same spot. Adjust if it is not.

When you do Mark's test, make sure the high-beams are on. Otherwise the low-beams will blind other drivers and the high-beams will blind pilots...

get a hunk of chalk, or a pen and mark the brightest spot on the wall... circle it or draw a big X in it. Something you can use as a referance.

so mark where the 2 beams concentrate into one or mark where each beam is the brightest....cause right now mine are pointing in 2 different directions.
